I am a big fan of the Erie Sister's Gala, the week before Thanksgiving in Erie, PA each
of the last six years. A wonderful social event, always filled with great times, great
trips and always some surprises.
In 2006, a group of 30 girls and significant others went to a dinner theater for a
recreation of a NBC Christmas Broadcast program from the 50's. Really good BUT, the
NBC affiliate came also for an interview. Why do men dressed as women want to
congregate in Erie, PA. Well, a group of "us girls" were interviewed at the dinner
theater and made it on the local news. Here is a copy of the news article and our
