July 2007 - I apologize to all who came to my site regularly and was
wondering why I hadn't done an update for over a year.  Since my last
update, Didi (or Debbie) took a turn for the worst and passed away in
April 2007.  Remember that Chinese proverb below (may you live in
interesting times), my mother died four days after my wife and we lost
my wife's Mother in September.

First, Debbie is in a much better place, and with my mother and
mother-in-law who both had rich lives.  I think of Debbie, my wife of 32
years, every day but we must remember the past, not live it.  It has
been my friends and family that have kept me on a even keel.  Thank
you all.

Second, I have no regrets, there was nothing that wasn't said, nothing
that we didn't do.  I knew two years ago that Debbie's days were
numbered.  My advice to all for loved ones close to you, don't wait that
extra day to say I love you, I am sorry or to bury a hatchet.

Lastly, the journey for Joanna is not over, nor for her male
counterpart.  I have never felt more confident, at peace and excited
for what lies ahead in a second life.  My biggest concerns are for my
teenage daughters but if one has faith, confidence and most important,
optimism, things always work out.  But Debbie will always be with me in
heart, mind, soul and a new tattoo.

Thank you all for your prayers,
kind words and support
Joanna

Jun 2006 - More interesting times.  Didi was hospitalized in April with
pneumonia for three weeks and other "things."  She is home now and
better but we are still fighting bed sores and have daily nursing.  BUT,
overall, things are more positive than at any time since February.
Thank your for your prayers.

Mar 2006 - My wife and family continue to make improvement.  Thank
your for your prayers.

Jan 2006 - Quick note...times are better and my wife is recovering.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Dec 2005 - There is a Chinese proverb..."may you live in interesting
times."  In November, my wife was hospitalized with a severe bed sore.
While home by Thanksgiving, we are now on 3x's a week nursing, a
wound vac plus I need to two care providers.  It was a good Xmas and
she seems to have rebounded in doing what the doctors says needs to
be done.  We are optimistic for 2006 and appreciate everyone's prayers.

Oct 2005 - Many thanks for your thoughtful emails and prayers.  Things
are still SSDD (same sh_t, different day).

We still do not have a clear prognosis but am taking this one day at a
time.  News at 11:00 as they say on TV, just don't know what day yet
(LOL).

July 2005 - It has been almost 6 months since I updated my website
and I wanted to give some explanation as to why I have been tardy in
these updates.

First, my very supportive wife, who is fully disabled with MS, has also
been diagnosed with cancer.  Fortunately, this is a low-grade cancer
but we still don't know what the future and treatment will hold.

Second, my daughters have had their own issues both by becoming
teenagers, coping with their mother's illness and their physical
disabilities.

Lastly, Joanna is evolving.  This is a good thing but I have so many
emotions running wild in me that my website was not my top priority.

Many of you have emailed me and I have let those know of the changes
in my life.  Your prayers and support are very welcomed.  I appreciate
many of the kind thoughts you have sent (and I have felt).  This goal of
my site is one of self expression but most importantly, to be a resource
to emerging cross-dressers, and for that, I will continue to update as I
have time.  Thanks for the prayers, emails and patience.

Huggles, Joanna
